Desert on the Beach

Whilst in Egypt, on the most amazing holiday with my friend, i had the opportunity to ride a camel, something i had never done before. Going to Egypt was my first time our of Europe and because i was flying by myself, it was very scary. However, it was worth it. We had the most incredible week but one of my highlights was riding the camel, Oscar, along the beach!

Thank you so much to my friend Tallulah for taking the photos!

On Top of the World

Being the only hill for miles where i live, you would have thought i'd have been up there before, but this was the first time i had actually been up to the top of castle hill and we timed it perfectly so that the sun was just about to set.
This outfit is so easy and simple yet still interesting.

Thank you to Tallulah for taking the photos of me

Although this is my only smock dress, i have really come to love them. They can be dressed up or down and are perfect after you have eaten a bit too much on Christmas day!

Guggenheim: Bilbao

Whilst we were staying in the south of France we decided to take a day trip to the Guggenheim in Bilbao. I was so excited because Spain is pretty much my favourite country but also we knew how useful it was going to be as we were both about to start art A Level. We took a coach which took about 2 hours and finally arrived in Bilbao. We were first struck by the immense size of the building and the amazing architecture of the steel walls. Even as you go inside the architecture doesn't fail to amaze you. We went around every gallery although some very quickly as we didn't have quite as much time as we would have liked and they were all so different and inspiring, it was amazing. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take photos in a lot of the galleries but i want to share with you the ones i did take so prepare for a photo overload...

Since I got an iphone, one of the most amazing features is the panorama setting on the camers and i have taken them non stop. I love the feel that you can see all the way around you, like you're viewing the world 360 degrees around all in one so i thought i would share some of my panoramas:

Sheer Desolation

When I was on holiday in France, we came across an abandoned swimming pool that was the most vibrant blue and we instantly knew we would have to take outfit photos there.

Because of the hot weather i decided not only to wear light materials but also light clothing. I haven't worn this skirt much because of its colour, meaning when ever I go out in it I can't sit down, in fear of what I might sit on. However it was such a nice day I couldn't resist! I love the sheer panel on this skirt that gives it an elegant touch as well as making it a bit more interesting. This floral top is something I found in the bottom of my drawer and I had completely forgotten about. It keeps the outfit summery and light whilst still making it sleek.

Because I saw this as quite a casual outfit, I decided to tone it down by wearing flip flops (and we were on our way to the beach!)

The hat in some of these photos just brings the outfit together as well as making me feel extra French!
